The functions and responsibilities of IBTS include organising and administering a blood transfusion service including the acquisition and processing of blood and the supply of blood derivatives or other blood products – these are truly life saving / or life improving activities. It is essential the IBTS is communicated as being a reliable, expert, modern, efficient and safe provider of essential life sustaining, or quality-of-life improving products and services.
It is essential that blood donors and patients understand the important relationship they have, a relationship safely empowered and managed by IBTS.
We have carried out a number of important projects for the Irish Blood Transfusion Service and these were the points of reference we used when designing these important elements of effective communications collateral – the IBTS Annual Reports and their Strategic Plan. Our work communicates that the person is at the centre of the IBTS commitment to excellence.
